Hey how y'all
doing? Been quite a while
that everyone have heard from Re-2uned.
Well your patience and support paid off
because Re-2uned is proud to announce
that they will be releasing their first
single, titled as "Homie Like I Told Ya",
very soon! The theme of the song is that
Saidul and Shaft will let nobody stand
in their way to gain success in the
music industry nor will they stop their
passion for music, no matter how tough
things get. The song is currently under
process along with a few other tracks
that will be on their first album.
Re-2uned is also glad to let you know
that there is also a music video in the
making for the track "Homie Like I Told
Ya". So keep your eyes and ears open for
upcoming updates and give your full
support to Re-2uned!!

Welcome to Re-2uned.com. Re-2uned is
currently working on their first album.
They plan to finish it by summer of 2009
but release date could be pushed further
under different circumstances, as it is
their first album. Seems like a long
wait! Well, they have uploaded some of
their songs that they made with their
previous band, to keep you folks busy.
Hope you enjoy them, and keep checking
back for new announcements and updates

Souljaa Saidul and Shaft
are previous members of a band called
Bengali Souljaaz. They formed the
“2-man-band”, Re-2uned after Bengali
Souljaaz broke up. They came up with the
name “Re-2uned” (Retuned) for the
purpose of clearing things up and
starting fresh with a better approach to
the modern music industry. The “2” in
Re-2uned is written instead of “T” to
symbolize the two members of the band,
Souljaa Saidul and Shaft.
Souljaa
Saidul and Shaft’s musical background
dates back to late 2003. Making songs as
hobbies, it soon turned out that people
liked their work. Seeing the
encouragement from friends, family and
their Bengali community, they formed a
band with three other members and came
to call it Bengali Souljaa Records which
became their record label title and
therefore shortening the band name to
Bengali Souljaaz. Their main goal was to
display their talents within their
Bengali community. However the band did
not last long due to conflicts. But this
did not stop the music for them. Seeing
what they achieved in Bengali Souljaaz,
Souljaa, Souljaa Saidul and Shaft decided they will take
their music internationally and
therefore forming Re-2uned.
Currently underground musicians in
Toronto, the roles of Souljaa Saidul in Re-2uned
include writing lyrics, web designing
and administration, publishing and
announcing band updates, graphic
designing and most importantly, vocals,
and Shaft’s roles include music
production and composition, writing
lyrics, mixing, mastering, and lastly
vocals. Re-2uned has selected for their
first record to be mostly hip-hop/R&B.
They are currently working hard on their
record in Shaft’s home studio and
looking for all the support they can get
from their expanding group of fans.
